What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

Our standard MOQ for global shipping is 10 to 20 Metric Tons (MT) depending on the agricultural commodity. Sesame seeds, ginger, and cashew nuts typically have a 10 MT MOQ, while bulk grains such as maize, sorghum, and soybeans are available from 20 MT. Question 2

Do you provide product samples before large-scale orders?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Corporate product samples are prepared under strict quality guidelines and dispatched globally via DHL or FedEx upon request. Sample weights are typically 500g to 2kg per commodity and are accompanied by a quality specification sheet. Sample dispatch fees apply and are credited against your first confirmed order. What types of packaging do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We offer standard international export packing including 50kg Heavy-Duty PP (polypropylene) bags, Jute bags, and bulk container loading based on your specifications. Custom branding, private label packaging, and buyer-specified bag weights (25kg, 50kg) are available on request for orders above 20 MT. All packaging materials comply with international food safety and phytosanitary standards.

Every shipment is accompanied by a full suite of trade documents: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin (Form A or CO), Phytosanitary Certificate, Fumigation Certificate, NAFDAC Certificate (where applicable), SGS or Intertek Pre-Shipment Inspection Report, and Weight & Quality Certificate. Additional certifications such as USDA Organic, EU Organic, Halal, Non-GMO, ISO 22000, and HACCP are available on request.

Accepted Answer

We accept the following payment terms: Letter of Credit (LC at Sight) from a reputable international bank; Telegraphic Transfer (TT) with 30% to 50% advance payment and the balance against shipping documents; and Direct Local Bank Transfer for buyers in the USA (USD ACH/Wire), UK (GBP Faster Payments), Eurozone (SEPA), and Nigeria (Naira). All bank charges are the buyer's responsibility. Cargo loading commences only after payment confirmation.

Which ports do you ship from?

All export shipments originate from Nigerian seaports, primarily Apapa Port (Lagos) and Tin Can Island Port (Lagos). We work with licensed freight forwarders and shipping agents to arrange FCL and LCL container bookings on major shipping lines. Inland haulage from our warehouses in Kano to the port of loading is managed by our in-house logistics fleet.

Yes. AAI Grain Food and Supplies Limited manages nationwide delivery to all 36 States and the FCT Abuja using our own dedicated logistics fleet. We cover major commercial hubs including Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kaduna, Enugu, and Onitsha, as well as secondary markets across all geopolitical zones. Delivery timelines and haulage costs are confirmed at the time of order based on destination and volume.

Can local businesses pay directly upon warehouse pick-up?

Accepted Answer

Local institutional buyers can settle orders via instant corporate bank transfer before dispatch or under agreed contract terms for verified partners. Walk-in warehouse pick-up is available at our Kano head office (No. 40 Sharada Phase 3) and Lagos branch (No. 237 Ikeja Along) by prior appointment. Payment must be confirmed before goods are released. We do not accept cash payments above the statutory threshold.
